THE WORLDS FINEST GATSBY PARTIES
Prohibition is the biggest arranger of grand Gatsby events in Europe. Our goal is to host the biggest and best vintage parties the world has ever seen. We’ll take you and your comrades can travel a hundred years back in time in class and style.
Prohibition have since starting up in 2019 sold out events all over Europe. In the past years we have visited Paris, London, Southampton, Bristol, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Trondheim, Oslo and many more.
THE ENTERTAINMENT
For us, it’s all about the entertainment. We serve a world class show with dancers, jazz, cabaret and humor, show girls with amazing costumes and vintage DJ sets.
MUSIC
Our in house band - Swing’it - are one of the largest vintage music creators in the World. With humor and energy Swing’it put up a show for the ages.
DANCE AND BURSLEQUE
With raging costumes and fast feet dance and burlesque are integral part to any party. We give you some of the finest acts from the Vintage stage.
SWING’iT
PROHIBITION is hosted by Swing’it. Swing’it combine the pop music of yesterday with the energy and vibrance of today. With unprecedented showmanship they create an electric atmosphere that will have you dancing and smiling the night away.
Swing’it have played at several of the biggest jazz festivals in Norway and UK, In 2018 they made it all the way to the semi finals of TV2s talent show “Norway’s Got Talent”, In 2023 they came 3rd in the National finals of Eurovision with the song PROHIBITION.
Their very first single – Party Like it’s 1923 – a story about flappers and dappers partying like the Great Gatsby, set the stage for the Prohibition parties we know to day, Their later single Champagne and Gin sements their vintage leadership in the World of Vintage.
